Great ways to learn faster and maintain better
READ!
Do you have a favorite book? See if it comes in Spanish! I love reading books in Spanish that I've already read in English. Even though it's the same book, sometimes details of the story jump out that I totally overlooked when I read in English. It's crazy how different the same book and same story is in a different language! Here are some books I've enjoyed reading in Spanish:
Don't want to tackle a book? That's cool. Try out some fun websites!
LISTEN!
What kind of music are you in to? I'm sure there's a group you'll like that sings in Spanish. Here are some suggestions.
(There is also a group called "Kevin, Karla y la Banda" that covers a lot of famous pop songs --by artists like Taylor Swift and Adele-- in Spanish.)
So, find a song you LOVE, figure out what it means in English, and then learn the song in Spanish! I learned a LOT this way and it didn't even feel like work :)

WATCH
What are your hobbies and interests? I like comedy, food, music, and fashion, so I watch videos about those topics in Spanish all the time. When I was in Peru on a mission trip and volunteering in an orphanage, I was asked to interpret art lessons for some of the teenagers. I realized that I knew a lot of art terms simply because I watched makeup tutorials in Spanish on YouTube. So try it out ☺ I bet you'll be amazed by how much you can understand, and how much you improve if you stick with it!
